New Patient Center

Welcome to Coeur d’Alene Wellness!

Right from the start, we want you to feel at home when you’re with us. You should always feel free to ask questions, and I will always explain your treatment. Our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible and help you find the relief you’ve been seeking.

Your First Visit

Before you visit us for the first time, we invite you to browse our website and get to know us a little better. Our new patient paperwork is available here on our site, so you can complete it at your convenience and bring it with you to your first appointment. If you are not able to bring your paperwork with you, just plan to arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete it in our office.

Lyme Disease Symptom List

I will review your paperwork with you before your initial evaluation. I may ask you to elaborate on some of the information you’ve provided, to gain a better understanding of your condition and your history. Doing so helps me determine and treat the cause of your problem, rather than simply masking the symptoms.

We may do some pretreating, particularly during naturopathic visits, to help us establish a working baseline. This approach allows us to provide you with more in-depth information about your condition as we proceed with your treatment plan.

Regular Visits

At Coeur d’Alene Wellness, we provide both naturopathic and chiropractic treatment, allowing us to care for you as a whole person, rather than just an expression of your symptoms.
Spinal care visits typically require about 10 minutes, while naturopathic treatments may take 20- 30 minutes. Each treatment builds on the one before it, and I will continually reassess your condition to ensure you stay on track with your treatment goals.

We encourage you to ask questions at any point in the course of your treatment. Maintaining an open dialogue keeps us informed of any changes in your health and helps ensure your peace of mind.

Lyme Disease Recovery in Coeur d’Alene

Identifying and assisting in recovery from potential Lyme disease in our patients is one of our highest priorities at Coeur d’Alene Wellness. Lyme can present with musculoskeletal symptoms. As part of our intake paperwork, we provide a brief assessment to help determine whether the pain you’re feeling is truly one for chiropractic or whether it might be Lyme, indicating a more comprehensive approach may be needed.

To learn more about Lyme disease, please read this helpful two-part article from Dr. Joseph Mercola. Dr. Dan also recommends the book, “Why Can’t I Get Better? Solving the Mystery of Lyme and Chronic Disease” by Dr. Richard Horowitz. You can also access a video that may be helpful in understanding Lyme disease.

Test and Treatment Protocols

Our multipronged approach to identification and recovery from Lyme disease includes

  • Food allergy toxins
  • Metal toxicities
  • Chemical sensitivities
  • Lyme co-infections and other microbes
  • Methylation defects
  • Homeopathy
  • Specific herbs
  • Individually selected pulsed laser and other light frequencies
  • Nutritional deficiencies related to infection and system dysfunctions
  • Energetic testing for a variety of different Lyme strains
  • Grounding
  • Biofilms

At this time, Lyme seems to be highly prevalent in our area, so we suggest you review the Lyme assessment provided in your new patient paperwork and help us determine whether Lyme might be a concern for you.

Driving Directions:

Coeur d’Alene Wellness is located in the Coeur d’Alene medical district, three blocks south of Kootenai Medical Center on Highway95/Lincoln Way and we are very easy to find! If coming from Interstate 90, take Freeway Exit #12 and turn South. To reach the hospital you would turn right at the light onto Ironwood. Instead, proceed through the light and come three more blocks to Mill Street. We are located on the southwest corner of Mill and Lincoln Way (which is the name Hwy 95 takes through this part of town).

Whether you come from north or south, turn west onto Mill Street and immediately left into our parking lot. The sign on the wrap-around blue and white canopy will say “O’Neill Clinic”. We look forward to seeing you!
